Founded by husband-and-wife chefs Josh Finger and Maggie McConnell, the restaurant is not just a love story but a testament to their shared passion for hospitality and cooking.
Josh and Maggie met in the kitchen of Thomas Keller’s three-Michelin-starred Per Se in New York City. Their time there instilled in them a relentless commitment to precision, discipline, and collaboration. After countless trips to Maggie’s hometown of Providence, the choice of location was clear when the time came to build something of their own. Named in honor of Josh’s mother, Claudine is a return home and the beginning of something great. In the heart of Providence, guests are invited into an experience that is refined, playful, and welcoming.
